First appearance: Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3 - The Last Command

The Raid on Bilbringi was a raid by the newly established Smugglers' Alliance on the part of smugglers Mazzic and Ellor against the Galactic Empire at the Bilbringi Shipyards in retaliation of the Ambush on Trogan. Around twenty of Mazzic's freighters penetrated discretly the system and destroyed a nearly-completed Imperial-class Star Destroyer within the construction docks of the shipyards. The ships were attacked by squadrons of TIE Fighters which were easily destroyed by Ellor's two Corellian Gunships that arrived to cover their escape. Read more...
